I love the Zeiss products that are coming out.
My dream 50mm is a Planer 50/2 or a Sonner 50/1.5. But it's a dream that is still far far off...

You really think Nikon is going to release a digital SP? If they do, it's going to be limited and cost a BOMB!

doubtful. compare the price of a modern leica with a modern nikon rf. you can't make a "leica rf price vs. nikon slr price" comparison.

Why would Nikon develop a digital RF camera and benefit other lens manufacturer? Doesn't seem like it makes business sense....
Heard Rollei, Sinar & Leaf are collaborating to produce digital RF with M-mount.
Where did u see this? Would be very exciting if its true especially if its full frame.

Leica supposed to have bought controlling stake 51% of Sinar but the deal was stopped. It seems that Sinar got other idea, ie, to develop a digital RF with Rollei & Leaf-from (I think) a reliable source. Hope this comes true
Heard also Noctilux production will stop soon....

It wouldn't benefit another lens manufacturer if they retain the S mount (except for Cosina, since they're OEM'ing the lenses. But they also OEM lenses for Nikon SLRs, too.)Why would Nikon develop a digital RF camera and benefit other lens manufacturer? Doesn't seem like it makes business sense....
