Youtube opens studio for content creators in major cities

Ooh I wonder why they do that?

Home studios too unimpressive?
Dropped in Vloggers over time because people eventually found its not viable?

normally YouTube content creators like Vloggers would not have the access to such specialised facilities and gear to be able to make their videos. it's nice to have a place like this for them to connect too, but I really wonder if the facilities and equipment are a bit too advanced? some of those stuff we don't even dabble with on a daily basis man.

It's not restricted to vloggers by the way.

From what I know, if you hit 10,000 subs, you have access to the youtube space, but what i heard is applicable in LA, not sure about the rest of the places.

EDIT: After accessing the page, it seems that each Space has their own requirements/prerequisites for being able to use the facilities at no charge at all. It's a good step forward for people who have no knowledge or funding to be able to use the state-of-the-art gear that professional productions use.
