sorry bro, :dunno: i dun get it, P&S can trigger 460II?
yes you can, with S1 mode which is the dumb optical slave mode.

S1 = trigger off with any camera flash, E-TTL pre-flash inclusive
S2 = smarter mode which will ignore E-TTL pre-flash and only trigger off when the main flash fires

meaning my F200exr can trigger my 580exII too?

Yes, optical slave. Like studio strobes. I love this method if triggering vs using STE2 which works only 20% (for me). Lol.

Mop

Nope, 580ex2 does not have optical slave capability, so can't.

No, canon flashes do not have optical slave mode. Only YN flashes do. :nono:

As long as the YN flash is in S1 mode, ANY flash, from a DSLR built in flash, PNS built in flash or external flash like 580EX, 430EX, Nissin flash etc etc will be able to trigger it

in short, if you are using the YN460II/560, you just need a set of radio trigger and receiver for the main flash, set the rest to S1 mode and they will trigger off just fine, provided they are within working distance la.

guy's, 1more question. what casue the P&S to trigger the YN flash s1 mode? isit the flash itself from P&S?

yes, as already mentioned in my reply above:

 P&S camera flash fired means (photo taken), then it trigger YN flash, won't it be slower than the P&S?
All I can say is, try it to believe it.

Yeah, set to S1 or S2, YN will fire then the main flash fires too. Try lorrrrrrrrrrrrr

most of the time i place em behind walls, under staircase, etc oTL|||

get a long range system like a plus 2 or an atlas, or at least a strato, those cheap ones ya see sometimes 5m also cannot fire one ~_~
