How much should I expect to get from my Yashica T4 Super?

- 35mm f3.5 Carl Zeiss T* lens
- Extra top "super-scope" viewfinder
- waterproof
- with strap and soft-bag

It's 8/10 cosmetic, 10/10 optic, with light scratches on the back and battery door due to normal usage.

IMHO, around $250-300 depending on how the actual condition is. mabbe more if it's in pristine condition (like unused, mint type)

Thx Larry.

I've seen on ebay.com that 2nd hand T4 Super could get as high as US$250 (SGD$425). It seems mint condition T4 Super has become a collectible in the States.

Mine is only near-mint. The price you quoted sounds reasonable.

If I am not wrong, I saw a new one last year in Standard Photo (woodlands) for S$250. USD250 seems to me is very ex.

then you should have grabbed it. new (mint) ones can still be found at small camera shops, but they are rare and highly collectible. i'm a big fan of the old Yashica PnS cams (T4 & T5) so i've been keeping a lookout whenever i go to ulu ulu places and shops... :D

It's almost impossible to find a brand new one ;p If it's really $250, grab it!

I should have known this earlier :embrass: You know, the look of T5 is not so attactive ;)

yeah you're right, the T4 is a much nicer black sleek form factor, but the T5's waist level finder is much more useful for street shots and discreet photogy. but both have the same sweet Carl Zeiss glass... :D

Look can be deceiving.

T4/T5 makes the superb Carl Zeiss T* lens available in a not-so-expensive package. Carl Zeiss is what makes Sony 717 and the likes stand out of the digital crowd.
