i'm on a lookout for this camera as well. read from a few review sites that this is one compact camera with minimum tradeoffs due to its size. Have tried it myself too, gd for ladies, which is y i am looking it for my gf. But only managed to find the silver model, the black n red is nowhere to be found. I just mailed Minolta as well to see whether are they been brought in for our local mkt.
By the way, Harvey Norman seems to have a gd deal with the new 3 yrs warranty + all those free gifts n an additional $60 restaurant voucher when i checked it out last weekend. MS and Alan r both selling for ard 640.
