This has been my only videocam. Has brought many sweet memories for me n my family. The dv cam comes with a manual, charger, battery. No box and w/out warranty. It uses MiniDV tape as the recording medium. The dv cam has been used for recent family occasions and still plays crisp and sharp video.
Always kept in dry cabinet.

I rate it 8 though maybe may deserve more. However due to the fact the tape cover area (facing your palm) experience some form of wear on the surface i rate it at 8. The wear in no ways has any effect on the dv recorder. The main physical surface are clean.
