Selling the camera I shot my first feature film in. You can always google the specs, I'm here to tell you how it performed in real world situations.

We shot in sub-zero temperatures in the German Alps, shot in forests and in blazing hot sunlight. The BMPC 4K never gave a single problem.

Don't get me wrong, this camera needs light to look its best. Perfect for hot, sunny countries like Singapore. Once you get the image properly exposed, and colour corrected... the beauty of the frame is just stunning.

Top tip: Pair it with a set of vintage Nikkor lenses to really show off the period quality of the image. I have attached a screenshot to show the quality inherent in this camera, if you treat it right. Needless to say, this is perhaps the cheapest 4K camera you'll be able to get here.

The Black Magic Production Camera 4K was also used as a crash cam for certain sequences in the movie The Infiltrator, starring Bryan Cranston, mainly for the ease of matching period shot footage.

Truly, one of the best cameras you can get for the price point.
