Hi Everyone!
This is my current overseas holiday gimbal setup.
Mounting a Sony RX100V on Zhiyun Smooth Q. (This setup would make sense if your compact camera images are better than your mobile phone camera, else don't bother. Haha)
The Smooth Q is designed to hold mobile phones, however with some modifications to the mount it can hold some light compact cameras such as the RX100 series.
I am currently providing the 3D printing service for the mount which I designed. It comes with a travel clip too to tie down your gimbal arms nicely. (The 3D printed parts are in grey)
I don't mind if you would like me to try on other compact cameras too.
Points to Note:
- Please provide your own compact camera and Smooth Q gimbal.
- This modification voids the warranty of the Smooth Q
- I will take about two weeks lead time to do the mod nicely ( can be discussed)
- I am not liable for the damages to the camera or gimbal.
