It is in excellent condition (ca. 8) - no marks, scratches or fungus on the optics.
The lens barrel is looking great for its age with very minor signs of usage
It comes with front and rear lens caps.
This fast prime lens is M42 mount and works with Film or Digital SLRs (Nikon, Canon, Sony, Pentax etc.) with use of the correct adapter, which is cheaply available on eBay or for a little premium in some local shops (e.g. Peninsular Plaza). Ive personally used it on my Canon 550D and it works brilliantly for both stills and video.
You have probably done your research and know this already, but the Flektogon is a legendary Carl Zeiss lens and is particularly hyped as a video lens at them moment, as its 35mm focal length makes it a great all-round ~50mm lens on non-full frame DSLRs. With its min. focusing distance of about 20cm its also great for Macro photography.
