The Manfrotto 695CX Carbon Fiber Monopod is a compact and lightweight 5 leg section monopod that rises to a height of 63.19" and folds down to just 18.7". The 695CX combines the strength of magnesium and carbon fiber. The monopod is crafted from carbon fiber using an exclusive, patented process. Manfrotto engineers have replaced all aluminum components with magnesium alloy. The switch represents a lateral move in sturdiness, yet a substantial gain in strength and overall reduction of weight. The average weight reduction of magnesium compared to aluminum is about 35%.
The Manfrotto 234RC Tilt Head was specifically designed for monopods. The tilt head features a one-axis movement which allows the positioning of the camera for a vertical format with the monopod in the upright stance.
