Selling my Gitzo Explorer GT2390EX. Extremely stable with variable arm. Full Basalt Fiber legs and variable column. Legs are secured by free angle snap locks, so you can position the legs at any angle desired, unlike most tripods with 3 fixed notches. Center column is reversible and can be tilted at any angle and extended if required. One of the best tripods out there used by macro shooters. Also perfect to clear railings when shooting landscapes. Basalt fiber is more resilient and tougher than carbon fiber (Some Gitzo CF tripods is notorious for cracking). It is only slightly heavier than CF but much lighter and stronger than aluminum.
This one is in excellent condition because it has always been used and maintained carefully. Selling because I do not really shot macro and I have 5 tripods currently. I use my travel setup a lot more, and have another heavy duty tripod for heavier work. So this one is quite seldom used. Kept in tripod bag all the time when not in use. Leg levers, knobs all looks and feels new and smooth. It comes with full box with all accessories, manuals and receipt (including the small plastic ring that attaches to the tripod with nut tightener, allen key and wire clip). This set is as complete as you can find it.
