Description:
Topcon RE Super is quite a cult camera. An incredible piece of engineering, robust and built like a tank. 58mm 1.8 Lens is very sharp and has quite a reputation.
Fully functional, shutter is strong, meter is sensitive. Cosmetically challenged, dents and scratches, none affecting the functions. Film advance and film rewind seems loose, but functional. This a workhorse, not for collectors.
Lens glass is fine with minimal cleaning marks. Focus is well damped. However, lens is missing one aperture blade (see pic) with oil on aperture.
The owner before me ingeniously made his own aperture (donut discs) which can be held by a filter.
Selling cheap due to condition.
