Hi everyone, I am selling away two camera bodies as stated below.
BC1 :
1) The leatherette has dropped out once. I sticked it back with some really strong glue so its working fine (really!) . One thing to note is that the serial no. portion has been lost permanently so there's this mini gap in the leather.
2)The metal ring around the battery check and exposure lock button is rusty. I tried to clean it once but I cant seem to get rid of it properly.
3)The battery check / exposure lock button only allows you to do the latter. But I highly doubt anyone will use this button.
4)The self timer button cover has dropped out but it is useable.
5)I am selling this body together with a CZJ prakticar 50mm F1.8. Its basically a PB mount Pancolar that can only focus up to 0.45m as compared to the older m42 version. The lens is optically clean (at least a 9) and cosmetically a 8 to me due to slight fading of the markings. The open aperture metering works but it gives a reading that is consistently a stop slower.
6)Lastly, I am throwing in another 50mm domiplan F2.8 with a m42 - PB adapter for free. Its clean so no worries.
For the EOS 50, it comes with a body cap and the new 2CR5 battery that I just loaded in. Everything is working fine. I would rate it a 9.
Sorry for the long winded post. Anyway, although the BC1 sounds like a nightmare, its actually a pretty nice camera to shoot with. If you are interested, do drop me a SMS
