Selling an aperture priority/manual SLR Pentax ME analog camera with Pentax-M SMC (super-multi-coat) 50mm f1.7 lens. Condition of camera and lens are 9/10.
Bought this camera + lens from a Japanese seller. Shot quite a number of rolls (b&w and x-pro slide film) and the pictures are sharp and correctly exposed. Currently using my Nikon F3 and Nikon FM2n + Nikkor lens most of the time. So the camera and lens combo has to go. Its been kept in the dry-box since day 1.
Camera speed will go up to 1/1000 sec. You can choose between 1) aperture priority mode - you set ASA+aperture, camera sets speed or 2) manual at speed 1/100. This camera take-in any LR44/A76 1.5V $2.30 Energizer batteries that you can find anywhere. One of the smallest + lightest SLR film camera, and easiest to shoot film with. This black version is not easy to come by. Lens is the classic 50mm width with a very fast f1.7 aperture speed. The lens is super clear and beautiful with no scratches or fungus. The aperture and focus ring moves smoothly. There is a mini speck of dust, but i've not had issues with picture quality.
This set-up will be good for anyone who wants to start shooting film, or anyone who would like to re-shoot film again. And perfect for those who like to shoot all day and prefer a light walk-around camera. This combo will definitely go a long way.
Includes Pentax lens cap and original vintage Pentax strap. Price is firm.
