Detailed Description:
Canon AE1 with Canon 50mm f1.4 SSC lens.
Camera is functional, lens is clean and clear. Aperture dry and snappy, focusing smooth. Includes battery, original strap with rare spare battery holder accessory, and eyecup. Also has a 55mm screw on cap for the lens.
While the autoexposure works fine, the needle in the viewfinder shows the wrong aperture. When the camera sets aperture to f1.4 the needle points to f5.6, aperture at f2 needle to f8, and so on. It does select the right aperture and expose photos properly though. Behaves similarly In both auto n manual mode. If u keep this in mind, it shldnt give much problem.
Also, there is a crack at the viewfinder window of the camera body and some dirt within (see photo). Doesnt affect functions nor photos. But they are there.
Priced accordingly. The lens alone is worth abit.
