Detailed Description:
Great working condition. There are some usage marks on the body, and part of the rubber skin could do with a reglue. The lens is immaculate - absolutely mint and as good as new.
The grip is a must have accessory as it makes the camera hang comfortably on a neck strap. It's in basically new condition and cost me $100.
This is an excellent camera. It's got the world's only 1:1 35mm rangefinder viewfinder so you can shoot comfortably with both eyes open. This also means it has huge 50mm frame lines and it's one of the few with 40mm frame lines (my favourite focal length). Even Leica don't offer this kind of viewfinder.
I put a roll through this just last week and everything works perfectly including the auto exposure mode, exposure lock, all shutter speeds etc. Rangefinder alignment is spot on and the camera had a CLA at Benphoto less than a year ago.
The lens is absolutely immaculate and produces beautiful images. It pairs perfectly with the R3A. I've always used it with the Hoya UV filter attached so the glass is spotless.
I would be happy to consider a (part) exchange for a Mamiya 6 or similar medium format camera.
