This is my beloved Leica MP black paint 0.72 film camera. The film advance is buttery smooth and shutter sound is very soft and discrete, perfect for stealthy street photography. Viewfinder is very bright, typical of all MP viewfinders.
Camera was sent for a CLA and had a change of cloth curtain and rangefinder focusing is spot on.
The black paint on edges of the camera are rubbed off due to normal usage and exposes the lovely brass chassis of the MP. This is part of the charm of a Leica black paint camera that can only happen after years of usage. Battery cover has scratches but does not affect usage at all. Please refer to the photos.
The serial number of this camera is 2922526 and according to http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-wiki.en/index.php/MP, was manufactured in 2003.
This camera has been stored in a dry cabinet when not in use and will bring it's next owner many more years of enjoyment. Will you be it's new owner?
