It is a local set with about 11 months of warranty left. It is registered with Leica under my name and can be changed to the new owner name with proof of ownership (ie sending photos of the serial number on the horse-shoe or warranty card to Leica)
It comes in the full package..outer plain box, Leica m8.2 box, inner hard box, charger, cable, etc....including two UV/IR filters and original receipt from Alan Photo.
