Selling a repainted black Leica M2 in excellent+ condition. Paint job done by rangefinder restorations and a full CLA done by Youxin Ye not long ago, maybe at the end of 2007 or 2008. Paint job is exquisite, rewinding knob is butter smooth, shutter curtains are like new, accurate shutter speeds and everything else is working as it should be. Besides the camera body, price includes body cap, Zhou's leather case (which costs S$90 on ebay) and a matching black Voigtlander VC Meter II (which cost S$268 if gotten from Chiif). Prefer to sell them together as a package. However, if you dont need any of the above items, we can work something out.
Willing to trade it for a good condition black Leica M6 with 0.72x viewfinder, classic or TTL version doesnt matter. Will top up of course.
Am also selling a black Leica Summilux 50mm f1.4 Type II under the "Buy/Sell Lenses" Section. This pre-ASPH version of the summilux is highly regarded by many. This lens, together with the black M2 will be a perfect combination. I can work out a package deal with the M2 if anyone is interested.
