Offering my M2 Black Paint for sale. This is an original black paint (can verify from serial number), not a repaint.
The camera has seen better days. The top plate and dial on reverse in particular have got lots of brass showing through. Likewise the edges are brassed. Small dents at two sides of the top plate. Nice character though. Base plate is good.
Camera works fine though I would suggest a CLA before using as it was last serviced over 2 years ago and left in my dry cab.
S/no. 1005161 - This corresponds to the period that is widely considered as that when Leica were producing the best cameras that money can buy then.
