0.72x viewfinder magnification
Smooth shutter gear train mechanism, very nice feeling when cranking the film advance.
I had a new M4P once, gritty feeling on the film advance.
Hot shoe and PC x-sync contacts for flash units.
Rangefinder focusing mechanism is accurate, viewfinder is clear and bright, rf patch is bright. No signs of vf prism decementing. Shutter is accurate. Shutter curtains are good, no wrinkles, no pinholes, no detachment from the frame.
Cosmetics - vulcanite is intact except for the patch on the film door and very tiny nick near where the baseplate hooks on to the body. There is some wear on the edges where the black stuff has rubbed off and the zinc shows through.
