Putting this gem up for sale, as I'm clearing my 35mm RF gear to fund other expenses.
Definitely one of the most, if not the most advanced film camera made for Leica M mount lenses, and most value for money IMHO.
It has the highest shutter speed at 1/4000, allowing for better wide aperture shooting in daylight with all that beautiful fast Leica glass available, compared to the max 1/1000 limitation for all cloth shutter Leicas.
Built in AE metering, and motordrive auto film feeding built in makes shooting quickly a breeze, allowing you to focus more on composition & focusing instead of worrying too much about correct exposure, a godsend for street photography.
I've gone through almost all the Leica film bodies over the years, and while I do appreciate the amazing build quality & beauty of the earlier Leicas, I feel the Hexar is the better photographic tool.
The camera is in really good condition, everything works like it should.
Cosmetically it looks great, with only very minuscule amount of paint loss and marks. Again, i doubt anyone would buy a Hexar to collect, and for actual RF photography this piece would get the job done without fuss.
