Hello rangefinder fans!!
The Konica Auto S2 is a Japanese 35mm compact rangefinder camera that was produced in 1965 by Konishiroku Photo Industry Company. The camera has a non-interchangeable Konica Hexanon 1:1.8-16 45mm lens with a meter cell located on lens front top and a built-in pop-up hood for flare reduction.
Dimensions: 138mm (width) x 82.2mm (height) x 73.5mm (thickness)
Weight: 750 grams
Letting this go as I need more space in my dry cabi. This has just been serviced by Mr Philip Tay around 2 months ago which cost me $160. In excellent condition, as you can see in the pictures, this camera looks MINT. Everything working! Meter working, battery compartment clear of corrosion, lens are clean and clear of fungus or haze or scratch. However there is a ver ver small crack in the bottom left corner of the viewfinder, it does not affect the function or picture quality. This set will also come with a UV filter, original lens cap together with the original case which is beautiful half case with a removable top cover.
You can use Auto mode on this camera which is Shutter Priority, or set to Manual mode for this camera. Very clean set. This lens gives excellent bokeh!!!!
This will be a great set if you are looking for a rangefinder to start off with. Solid build and vintage looking! As I paid quite abit to restore this camera to this condition, please avoid lowballing me. Thanks.
