I'm quite happy with my M8, so I'm selling my R-D1.
I am the second (or third) owner and I've had the camera for over a year.
It has been used well, and it shows. There's a fair bit of paint wear on the edges, and the rubber covering has lifted (I have stuck it back down with heavy-duty double-sided tape).
The great thing is that it works perfectly. Rangefinder is aligned. The viewfinder, barring some dust (which can't be seen when looking through) is clean and clear. Great contrast and easy to focus.
Shutter works well. I can't remember off-hand how many exposures it's taken, but I can give an estimate based on the filename (will check when I get home).
Sensor is clean and has not given any problems. LCD has a scratch on the surface, but otherwise is good. No dead (or hot) pixels. The firmware has been upgraded to the R-D1s version. I've not noticed any unwarranted battery drain.
Generally, it's a fantastic user camera. The price is reflective of the cosmetic condition.

I have the original packaging and documents. Besides the original accessories, I will also include an extra Epson battery, as well as an OEM battery.
All batteries hold their charge well, and will last in excess of 100 shots (I use a 1gb card, and that's about the most I've shot in one session).
