Hi,
Running out of space so clearing out some duplicate gears.
The Epson R-D1 is the first digital rangefinder camera that was introduced to the world. It does not need UV/IR filters and has no known sensor issues or SD card issues. It does not require any 6 bit coding on your lenses. It has a life size view finder so you can focus with both eyes open.
For sale is a well kept and near mint Epson R-D1. No scratches, no dents, no paint list, no cracks. Everything works as it should and RF and viewfinder are both in alignment.
There are some cheaper sets around, but focus and alignment are often an issue. This set is as good as new as I have had Epson Japan adjusted the frameline and focus to perfection. No dead pixels in the reversible LCD screen.
This set comes with all accompanied accessories, which includes, original Epson strap (unused), charger and charging cable. original battery (4 months old), Epson body cap, manual (Japanese) and software CD. Firmware has already been updated to Epson R-D1s. English manual can be downloaded.
Pictured Zhou case and limited A&A strap not included.
In addition to the above, I will include
1. 4 pieces of Sandisk 2 GB foldable USB cards in a card holder.
2. 1 black Voigtlander cotton strap or 1 new leather strap
3. Choice of 1 R-D1 case (Original, Luigi or A&A)
4. 1 silver soft release
5. Hotshoe cover
Total value of freebie is more than S$350.
I will not be taking lower offers that S$2,000 on this camera as I am very sure you cannot get a better set than this on Clubsnap currently. If you feel that for a little bit more you can get an Epson R-D1xG, please go ahead. And if you think that this R-D1 set is too expensive, you can always consider the Leica M8 instead.
Those interested can view and collect the set at Sixth Avenue in the later evenings. No other timing and locations during this period due to some family commitments.
