I have this QL17 in great condition that i wanna sell..
Unfortunately, there is a small patch of fungus on the inside of the front element.. it wasn't there a month ago, so it can be cleaned easily.. i just found this out last week, took it for a spin again last weekend, and decided i can't take care of it any more..
there is no light leak although the seals are quite worn, you can check from my flickr.. there is a slight dent at right corner of the camera that is not really noticeable especially when you put your hand in shooting position.. aperture blades are working correctly.. there are some marks on the shutter blades, but it doesn't affect anything at all, they are still working as they should.. light meter still works perfectly, so does the timer.. battery check light is working (battery is included btw).. original leatherette..
lens condition, as previously stated, have small patch of fungus at the side under the light meter, and a few inevitable dusts..
basically everything's working good, except for the small patch of fungus and the small dent..
i believe the price is reasonable.. those with this kind of cosmetic and working condition can fetch about $200, many are above $250.. but because of the fungus, i am lowering the price so that you can use the difference to send it for cleaning..
i can rate the condition as 9/10 cus of the dent, but because of the fungus, it is down to 8/10..
reason of selling: i don't use it as much as the XA, hence the few months abandonment.. better get this to a better home than to keep it.. used it again last weekend after discovering the fungus, and felt that i should just let it go, instead of it being transformed into junk.. i'm gonna regret this, since i had been looking for this camera for quite sometimes and finally got it last year, but i will regret it more if the condition worsens in my hands..
