A very lovely Argus C3 for sale. Camera has been cleaned and lubricated thoroughly. Lens was completely stripped down, cleaned and reassembled. Aperture blades are very smooth and oil free. considerable effort was put into cleaning the interior and exterior, as well as polishing the metal and chrome. Shutter speeds all work correctly. Bulb mode also works. Rangefinder and viewfinder window were also stripped down, cleaned and reassembled. Shutter lever, internal springs and catches were lovingly oiled and lubed. The leatherette was entirely replaced. It was hand cut and now looks better than the old leatherette. The price of the new leatherette(including labor) was not cheap, but i'm only charging cost on it. The film sprocket is also smooth. I guarantee that there is no rust on any of the internal mechanisms. The lens is a f3.5-16, 50mm, Cintar Coated. This camera was manufactured during the 40s and 50s, so expect the camera to show signs of use. For example, the shutter knob shows some slight scuffing on its numbers (see picture) and the film advance knob shows signs of use too. Everything has been cleaned and restored.
