selling this holsteret that i got 3 months ago.
used it for 1 event and realized it is not to my liking so i am sticking back to the old strap method.
did a bit of modification to the plate as i used Oly E-3 which has a very thick profile under the grip (same for Sony Alpha) and the default spider plate is only designed for Nikon/Canon which has slimmer profile. (Shai from Spider holsters is a Canon user). i have shaved off a bit of the ridges to make space for the bigger grip but it does not affect the quality of the plate and still holds strong with the setup i used: E-3 with grip plus 2 batteries, SHG 14-35 F 2.0, Fl-50, Oly users will know the weight.
great for shooters who wants their shoulders free when adjusting stuff; lighting, hairdo ETC... also for event shooters who wants to take the weight off the neck and shoulders and not have any bulky thing swinging off their neck or mess with the cumbersome strap
with this mod i give it rating of 7 and selling at 100 SGD. new set will cost you 195 from Cathay.
