This is a selenium based meter with reflecting / averaging match-needle measurement type and an improved calculator dial.
It has a flip cover for high/low light but what makes this selenium based meter stands out is the built-in a spring-loaded booster cell for low-light. This is a nice touch; a lot of meters had booster cell accessories but they were separate and easily lost. This one just flips in and out of position.
In perfect working condition, and the meter responds like an active puppy.
