get depth of field that rivals or even outmatches FF sensors with 5/3 f stop reduction and light gathering capabilities as well as a 1.28x crop on focal length, which is lesser than aspc crop. for 4k, it becomes exactly a super 35mm 1.5x crop mode. perfect.
for a 20mm f1.8 FF lens, i can shoot at 25mm at f1.2 for example. f1.2 in terms of light gathering and depth of field.

In addition, the speed of any attached lens is increased by 1 2/3 stops, with a maximum output aperture of f/0.80 when an f/1.2 lens is used. For example, a 50mm f/1.2 becomes a 32mm f/0.80, which is the fastest aperture available for full size Micro Four Thirds format.
