Advertisement Category: Want To Sell (WTS)
Equipment Type: Others
Equipment Brand: Kindermann
Equipment Model: Slide Projector
Price (S$): 35
Description:
This is a fairly old but seldom used slide projector. Made by Kindermann but branded as Sasco on the front.
It comes with both a circular tray (holds 120 slides) as well as a straight tray (35 slides), and has a wired controller that adjusts focusing and controls the tray mechanism.
The lens, which is detachable, is in near-mint condition as I kept it in a dry cabinet all the time during storage. So it is fungus-free.
The unit has a slight malfunction in the loading and moving mechanism of the drum tray. However, it can be overcome by helping to pull the loading arm every time the mechanism moves the drum to the next slide. The straight tray also requires a bit of help to align each slide to match the loading arm so that the slide gets pushed in properly with each change.
Despite the drawback in the mechanism, this unit is highly usable for viewing your old slides, especially since it allows you to insert/remove a slide manually if you don't wish use any of the loading tray. It also has a very convenient back-lit window to quickly preview any slide in the dark.
As I have used the unit only a few hours at most, the bulb should still have a fairly long life-span remaining.
The unit no longer has it's original packing box, but it is easily portable in a standard shopping bag.
Payment by cash-on-delivery only, and self-collect at Admiratly MRT.
