In 2018, I found my old Fuji Instax Wide 300, as well as unexposed film, and I started using it to photograph my surroundings in the course of my daily commute around Singapore.
I quickly remembered that images captured on instant analog film, unlike digital, were permanent once taken.
It led me to become more sensitive to the interactions between my camera and the world around me.
Through the images presented in this book, I invite you to look through the viewfinder with me and consider the common everyday sights from a unique and different perspective.
All photographs were taken between 2018 and 2019.
