Description:
A Welta Weltax 6x6 folder in very good cosmetic condition (8~9). It's actually a 6x6/6x4.5 dual format, but the 6x4.5 insert is not included. Additionally, the viewfinder's 6x4.5 crop doesn't seem to work.
Shutter speeds are accurate, but there's a hitch. If you need to use speeds below 1/10, you have to turn the dial from the faster speeds to the slow speeds while the shutter is cocked. Doesn't matter what speed it was on (slow or fast) when you cock the shutter, it just needs to pass through the boundary between the slow and fast speeds while cocked. If you forget to do this the slow speeds will not be accurate.
Besides that, it's mechanically perfect and optically flawless. The lens is a coated Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 75mm f/3.5 with a Tempor shutter.
Comes with a roll of Velvia 100F loaded, with 11 frames left.
Also comes with leather case in pretty decent condition.
