Equipment Type: MediumFormat
Equipment Brand: Medium Format TLR
Equipment Model: RARE White Flexaret VII (9)
Price (S$): S$350 onwards
Description:
Flexaret VII was in production in years 1966-1971. This was the last type of Flexaret and TLR in Czechoslovakia. This camera is until today capable to take quite quality pictures (well acceptable for example by enlarging 14 x 11 and even larger). And you can use it for medium format (6x6 cm and 6x4.5) and 35-mm format (36x24 mm and 24x24 mm with a adapter)
Ser. No. 7-177219. Viewfinder lens is Belar 3.5/80, single coated, ser. No. 79580; camera lens Belar 3.5/80, single coated, stops 3.5-22, ser. No. 189840. The camera lens is 4 segment Tessar type. Shutter is Pentacon Prestor with speeds 1-1/500 and B. Sliding switch on right side allows to make easy double exposure.
Cosmetically is this camera EXCELLENT. Leatherette nearly without marks. Black edges with usual paint loss mark above closing system and otherwise with slight wear. Viewfinder with few scratches. Advance knob with few scratches. Chrome on bayonet rings without marks.
With original leather case and lens cap.
Camera was recently overhauled therefore works properly, shutter speeds are appropriate. Glass on lens is clean, no fungus. Few countable very tiny light cleaning scratches on front coating are visible from rear end only. Focusing and stopping is smooth. Self-timer works. Flash synchro contact works, too. Viewfinder is clean.
I had used the flexaret Va before and im pretty impressed by its quality. Selling this to fund for others.
taken with another flexaret i had.
What you see is what you get. If you wish to have a 35mm adapter or the ultra rare flexpar(close up adapters, much like the rolleinars), i've bought some which are coming in next month, so will inform the buyer
