hi all,
i'm toying with the idea of selling my beloved Mamiya 645 Pro to any who might be interested. it's the perfect step into the wonderful world of medium format, those who shoot 35mm will be blown away by the capabilities of this camera, and those who shoot already shoot medium format know how reliable and world-class the mamiya brand is. the 645 Pro is the workhorse of its era and i can attest to it's excellent build quality and the amazing things its lenses are capable of.
still on the fence about selling it but i decided to put it up here anyway since i never use it, see if it can find a new home.
included in the sale are:
- Mamiya 645 Pro body
- AE Prism (capable of average, spot, and combination spot/average metering)
- Motor Grip (the faster fps one w/ battery life indicator, uses cheaper AA batteries)
- 80mm f2.8 lens, flawless glass (SUPER SHARP, with creamy bokeh and incredibly shallow dof at f2.8, the joys of medium format. equivalent to 50mm focal length in 35mm cameras). there is a ding on the filter thread, but doesn't affect the use of filters, i keep one on the lens at all times
- 55mm f2.8, flawless glass (my favorite, old-school all metal construction, equivalent to a 35mm lens)
- 2x 120 film backs and inserts (one is in excellent condition, one is a more used but perfectly working condition)
- 1x extra film insert with box (a total of 3x 120 inserts in the sale)
- 1x rubber lens hood that extends from 55mm to 150mm coverage
- 1x wrist strap
if i get the asking price i'll throw in a Quantaray circular polarizer too. it's quite a deal, considering how much the stores at city hall are charging for the basic body/lens/prism setup.

now is the time to buy medium format! nowhere else can you get an entire medium format SYSTEM for less than the price of a Canon L lens or Leica lens.
