Description:
Flexaret cameras were really cult classic in Czechoslovakia.They were produced in Prerov city. It has the additional manual counter for 35mm film and the ability to use 35mm film(with adapter) in camera.
Flexaret IV was in production in years 1956-1959. This camera is until today capable to take quite quality pictures (well acceptable for example by enlarging 14 x 11 and even larger) and mechanically and optically is far better than for example later Russian Lubitel 166 U!
This is variety with focusing lever shaped like rhomboid.
Ser. No. 30738897. Viewfinder lens is Anastigmat 3/80, single coated, ser. No. 80385395; camera lens Belar 3.5/80, single coated, stops 3.5-22, ser. No. 20184661. Camera lens is 4 element Tessar type.
Shutter is Priontor SVS with speeds 1-1/300 and B.
Cosmetically is this camera EXCELLENT. Few marks on black edges on back edges and without usual mark on front caused by case. Leatherette without marks. Viewfinder with few marks and scratchs. Chrome without scratches just small brassing on one strap lug.
Including case and cap.
Camera works properly, shutter speeds look appropriate. It was recently overhauled, cleaned and lubricated so now everything works. Glass on lenses is clean, no fungus. Focusing and stopping is smooth. Flash synchro contact works. Selftimer works. Viewfinder is clean.
