Out of production and extremely rare these days.
This Voigtlander 125mm macro lens is said to be the best macro lens that ever existed, many even saying that it surpasses masters like Leica and Carl Zeiss.
It is speculated that Voigtlander would not produce these lens again and the value is likely to continue to increase over time.
The Canon mount is said to have higher value than most other mounts.
With the Canon mount, there is focusing feedback confirmation.
This lens for sale is in MINT condition.
Optics are perfect and free of scratches, fungus, dust etc. as it had a filter on from day 1.
Body is as mint with hardly noticeable signs of wear.
This lens is my personal beloved property and I had owned it from since it was produced.
It had the best of care and always lived in a humidity-controlled dry cabinet when not in use.
It was also wrapped in no residue gaffer tape for some time, hence the mint body.
I did not use the original lens cap and used a replacement Canon cap instead.
I seldom used the hood too and that is also wrapped in gaffer tape.
This lens had produced numerous great photos for me but I've finally decided to sell it as I'm less interested in macro photography now.
