I bought this for my Tamron 18-270 for me to try macro, but unfortunately I only tried it indoor until I sold my Tamron 18-270 lens.
Below are some description of the converter.
Rugged exterior build construction, with HD glass quality.
0.5x magnification wideness (eg. if you have 18-55mm lens, this lens converter will give you close to 9-28mm).
Screw off the bottom layer, and you have a macro lens (magnifier that enables close-up shots).
