Advantage over Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II:
1. It has Image Stablization
2. T-stop is 2.8 at f/2.8 as compared to canon's T-stop of 3.0 at f/2.8
3. Significantly lesser chromatic abbreviation
4. Equivalent performance and sharpness at a significantly cheaper price
Disadvantage over Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II:
1. Does not have red ring
