Selling away this 2-year old lens, seldom use, kept in dry cabi all the while. Bought locally from AP, not a grey set, so no problem getting it service locally in future if needed.
Bigmos is a budget tele-zoom that will take you all the way from 150mm to 500mm. It produces generally ok image at 500mm, but don't expect it to match those of Nikon AF-S 500mm f/4G ED VR, which costs many times more. Some test images below for your assessment, all shot at 500mm f8 with a bit of contrast and sharpness adjustment in lightroom and resized for web viewing. I would say the results are acceptable but not fantastic.
Lens is in very new condition as I hardly use it. Glass is clean and clear, no scratches on body. Sent to Sigma for firmware upgrade in 2011 and calibrated to my Nikon D300s, you may need to recalibrate to your camera to get best results, but might not be necessary if your camera has an AF fine tune feature.
