Some more pics of the lens when it is fully extended. Since it can be used both dually as a macro lens + a teleconverter, the possibilities are many. The more lenses you have the more options you have!

I have used this lens on my K5 and K-x to take some very nice and sharp macro images of insects and flowers. I have also used it for product photography (macros.) And it was very useful at an air-show I attended recently in Singapore. I was armed with my 55-300mm telephoto. Using this baby, I enjoyed the feel of using a 110-600mm telephoto... that too without any extra weight added! For those who do not know... a real 600mm telephoto lens weights several kgs!

This lens has good resale value too because its not so easily available. Since it already is a Pentax mount, there is no need for an additonal adapter if you wish to use converters by Nikon / Canon on your Pentax DSLR... so money is saved here too! In addition, this one has a metal body and is built like a tank, unlike the modern ones with flimsy plastic bodies and parts.
