Description:
Selling this fast prime Russian M42 Jupiter 9 85mm f2.0 one of the fame Russian lenses due to its soft out of focus and also renders the image slightly on the soft side. You can easily find information about this lens in the internet and price for this lens had risen in the past years. I cant say much about this other than check out reviews and see if you like it.
This is a M42 version meaning you can use this to most DSLR out there with a right adapter without any lens mount modification.
The Condition
1. Body as seen in the photos I would say seen better days rate is as 7/10 some paint lost here and there.
2. Glass is clean no fungus and haze some very minor dust inside but nothing that affect the IQ no oil on the blades also.
3. There's one imperfection on the front glass it's been there when I got this lens there's a scratch or something that seem to rub to the front glass but based on my experience and usage this doesnt affect the image even at smaller aperture, especially at wide open.
4. The lens doesn't come with any caps so sorry about it I bought it without it also.

Reason for selling I've got two of this and this is the much better condition than the other one selling this and keeping the others for myself. I am not selling this coz I dont like it I like this specially on Black and White

Taken wide open adjusted the contrast and exposure and blacks.
Note: based on my experience this lens works great when it has a hood my other J9 has a hood and it really helps specially shooting in a very bright or strong sunlight. I guess this holds true to all lenses specially those lenses that the front glass is so close to the lens thread.
