Bought it in October 2010. Still mint rarely used.
One thing to note is I can't remember where I placed the receipt, got it from MS Color.
But I already checked with nikon Singapore, my serial no is based on September shipment. So the warranty starts from September 2010 onwards.
Reason for selling is I'm more of a landscape shooter and this lens is seriously underused.
Comes with box, hood, pouch, front and rear caps.
