Due to upgrading, I have no choice but to let go of my rare (grey colour not black) and sharp copy of AFS 500mm f/4D IF-ED II lens. In Apr 2008, this lens was sent to Nikon Japan for overhaul and they replaces the SWM unit and focus encoder unit for > SGD1000. They also clean the lens and change lens mount (at my request). This lens is now 10/10 functionally and 9.5/10 cosmetically.
I am asking for $7000 for this like new 500mm lens. It includes the original hard Nikon casing, manual, original lens feet, Whimberly quick released feet and cammo lens coat. In short, upon purchased you can simply bring the lens out and ready to photograph all the wildlife that awaits you. Not many 500mm lens is in this condition and the new VR lens cost a lot more.
