Please kindly be informed that the lens that you have bought has got a 5 years warranty period covered by USA. During this 5 years period, you may bring your lens to the service centre located in the US for servicing or repair.

Concurrently, the lens that you have bought has got a 1 year international warranty which is covered worldwide. During the first year for your purchase, you may send your lens for servicing or repair at any Nikon Service Centre worldwide.

To answer your question, you will only be able to send your lens to Nikon Singapore Service Centre for servicing or repair during your first year of purchase. After 1 year from your purchase date, any servicing or repair will be chargable.
