The working condition is perfect other than some dust but it needs servicing to make full use of it .This lens is 100% workable on any nikon DSLR but need to MF .This is more expensive than the AFD Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 FYI .Still for sale from nikon .
I used this lens on my D80 FYI .
