Condition is 9.5 to 10, looks like 10 to me.
Reason for selling, upgrading to a 16-35mm/F4 FX VR lens.

These 2 shots below were taken recently with my D7000.

Returned to the Esplanade last month and took these shots with my D7000 and the 18-105mm kit lens.

I forget to mention..

I will only sell to a buyer who owns a D200 or better camera with fine-tuning feature.
The lens is in perfect condition but needs a bit of fine tuning to get the optimal performance.
When I hooked this lens on my D7000, I get optimal results with -14 fine-tuned.
When hooked it up with my D300s, I get best results with -9 fine-tuned.
According to some reviews, this lens is SHARPER than the 18-200mm VRII lens!
(See photos above - if you wish to get sharper images than these - you probably need a better lens, and that's the reason why I wanted to sell it, thinking of a 16-35mm/F4!).
D90 or below cameras can't do the trick.
Unless you want to send your camera back to Nikon to do that.
S$280/- + a Hoya multi-coated filter is already very cheap.
Please look elsewhere if you wish to get it at cheaper price.
IF no taker(s), I will just keep this cheap & good lens as a spare.

Took these 2 photos (D300s) this morning (1.1.11) just after the rain with a light breeze blowing.
My D300s + 18-105mm system is fine-tuned to -9.
