AF Lenses

The following AF lenses were made by Sigma and were just rebranded as Quantaray. They are optically equivalent to the Sigma counterparts.

1. Quantaray (Sigma) 50mm F2.8 EX Macro Lens

Bought as brand new old stock about 3 months ago. This is the exact same lens as the well acclaimed Sigma EX 50mm F2.8 Macro lens, just rebranded by Quantaray. Mint condition. Hardly used. Tested to be very sharp. Has circular aperture and "floating" element focusing system to maintain high optical performance from infinity to close-up 1:1 (life-size) macro photos. It also has a focus limiter for faster focusing. Comes with original box, papers, metal hood and caps. Everything as like minty new, basically unused. Selling because I find that macro photography is too time-consuming for my taste.

*This lens DOES NOT suffer from sensor reflection off the rear lens glass, unlike ALL versions of the Minolta 50mm Macro, incluing the Sony version as well.

Price: Asking for only $310 (remember this is a minty set, not used and beaten up)

2. Quantaray (Sigma) 24mm F2.8 Wide Angle Lens

This is another Sigma lens rebranded by Quantaray. It is the exact same lens as the well-acclaimed Sigma 24mm F2.8 Super Wide II, only the name ring is different. This whole lens is made from solid metal with excellent build quality seldom seen in lenses nowadays. Very sharp, close focusing and with nice smooth bokeh, especially at short distances where this lens really excels with it's 1:4 reproduction ratio in macro mode. Really competes head-to-head with the Minolta 24mm F2.8 I had. Check the reviews for this lens: http://www.dyxum.com/lenses/Sigma-24...8_lens215.html

This lens is in very good, near excellent cosmetic condition. Glass is pristine without marks, scratches or fungus. This lens would work with the Sony Alpha A33/A55 SLTs without any aperture problems and I had already lubed and calibrated it for infinity focus on the SLTs. Comes with front and rear cap with option to purchase a Promaster Spectrum 7 polariser for additional $10 only.

Price: Asking for $230 or $240 with polariser (this is very good price for a 24mm prime lens)

3. Quantaray (Sigma) 35-80mm F4-5.6

Another Sigma lens rebranded by Quantaray. Lens is in excellent cosmetic condition with clean scratch-less, mark-less glass. Includes front and rear cap and a Promaster Skylight filter.

Price: Asking for $45 only.

MF Lenses

1. Pentax Ashahi SMC Takumar 135mm F3.5 with hood (M42 Mount)

This is a M42 lens easily adapted to Sony DSLRs with a glassless M42 -> A-mount adapter. This is a very sharp but small and light copy of the legendary Asahi SMC Takumar 135mm F3.5. This is the newer SMC version with very vibrant colours and soft creamy bokeh that is just pleasing to the eye. It's also very easy to use, with a large grip and silky smooth focusing. Beautiful full metal construction meant to last a lifetime of use. The lens is in very nice condition with only some very minor paint wear. Snappy aperture and no fungus, marks or scratches on the glass of the lens. Include original lens hood and front/rear caps. This is an affordable way to obtain a 135mm portrait lens on A-mount.

Price: Asking for $160

2. Vivitar 28mm F2.5 Wide Angle Lens (Minolta MD mount)

In the 70s, vivitar lenses were of very good optical quality and were well regarded. This 28mm F2.5 lens is one of these well-regarded lenses. You could do a google search on this lens. Serial number 22xxxxx, made by Kiron (well-known for great optics). This is a 62mm front thread version. Lens is in good cosmetic condition externally. No scratches or fungus on optics but I see some very slight lens separation wthin an internal element at the edges. It is not too much of a concern and I have not seen any degradation of images myself. You are welcome to try if you do not believe me. Aperture is working fine and all click-stops firm and steady. No scratches or marks seen on the glass at both ends of the lens. Fits all mirrorless cameras with the right adapter.

Include front cap. No rear cap. Will include a Canon leather lens case to hold and protect this lens.

Price: $65 only

3. Minolta 50mm MD Rokkor-X F1.7

The Minolta Rokkor lenses are well-regarded for their superb optical and build quality. This lens is from the most desirable early MD period where the coatings were more advanced and the body is still mainly made from metal. Later MD Rokkor lenses have more plastic in them. It is easy to obain sharp images and nice bokeh from this 50mm lens, and is great for portraits! This lens is in very good cosmetic and optical condition. Clear glass without blemishes of any sorts.

Lens with front cap, no rear cap

Price: $130
