Selling a rather rare Minolta 70-210mm F3.5-4.5 telephoto lens in very good condition. For those unfamilar with its history, Minolta made 4 versions of 70-210mm AF lens - the 70-210mm F/4 (beercan), 70-210mm F/3.5-4.5 ("beercan lite") followed by 2 other inferior versions of 70-210mm F/4.5-5.6. This lens is Minolta's engineers' answer to reducing the size and weight of the Beercan while retaining a comparable IQ. The F/3.5-4.5 is the rarest of all 4 versions of the 70-210mm lenses because of a very short production period before Minolta switches over to solely producing the cheaper and much more inferior 70-210mm F/4.5-5.6 lenses.

Personally, I also prefer to bring this lens or the Minolta 100-200 F4.5 out than the big and heavy Beercan. If you like the IQ of the beercan but do not like its weight and size, this is a lens you should consider. It is smaller and weighs less than 2/3 the weight of the beercan and comes with a nice & convenient DOF preview/Focus hold button which is easily accessible by the thumb of your lens hand. No more fumbling around for the small DOF preview button on your camera!
This lens is in very clean and good condition with some minor user marks. Glass on both ends are nice, clean and clear. No scratch, no fungus, no marks. Aperture is fast and snappy.
