I have a pristine, black, Made-in-Germany Summilux-M 35mm 1:1.4 ASPH lens (model 11874) with a late serial number 39XXXXX for sale. This lens in NOT 6-bit coded. All items that originally shipped with in box are included. With the current price of this lens around the S$5,500 level due to the ever rising Euro, Im offering this lens for sale at the low price of S$4,380.
Condition:
Functionally, the glass is pristine, and would be rated MINT according to forum definition; extremely clean and clear with no fungus or fogging whatsoever. Lens mount is in extremely good condition; no scratches from lens mounting detectable. E46 filter thread is perfect. Mechanical quality is as expected for a Leica lens: focusing action is sliky smooth. The aperture ring turns positively to every click stop.
Cosmetically, external condition of the lens is excellent; no scratches, dings, dents, or paint chips or other marks. Lens markings look brand new. All knurled parts have zero wear marks, i.e. black chrome is intact and pristine. Included lenshood bayonets onto the lens and locks positively.
In all respects, this lens is in almost "BRAND NEW IN BOX" condition, that deserves the MINT grading, albeit with a more than S$1,000 discount from current retail price. Who knows what the price of a new Lux35ASPH is going to be next year!
